Watch deterministic chaos draw itself into light.
Each attractor is a deterministic rule. 2D maps (Clifford, De Jong) iterate (x,y) directly; Lorenz and Halvorsen are ODEs integrated with 4th-order Runge–Kutta and slowly rotated in 3D. Tens of thousands of points are accumulated per frame with additive (lighter) blending so dense regions glow, while color tracks local speed. Diverging states are clamped back to safe seeds — never a blank screen.
These shapes are the signature of chaos: fully determined by their equations, yet impossibly sensitive to initial conditions. A tiny nudge to σ, ρ or a single map coefficient reshapes the whole topology. Strange attractors are how weather, fluids, and nonlinear circuits hide structure inside unpredictability — order and randomness woven into one curve.
